The sites:
1.Brajici 760 meters above sea level.
A thermic site directly above the beach of Becici. Good for repeat flights as there is a main road direct to take off, quick turn around times for training. Great for learning to thermal and also good for manoeuvres such a B lines, wingovers and spirals or acro! XC record 35km along the coastal mountain range. Beach landings can be difficult during June, July and August due to crowds.
2. Button Hill 650 meters above sea level
This is another South facing mountain range with a good road most of the way to the top. Last section requires 4x4. Also good for training, Many grass fields to land in or beach landing. Often better in June, July and august as some beach landings at Becici are too crowded with sun worshippers.
A good thermic coastal site with XC potential.
3. Vrsuta 1180 meters above sea level
4x4 drive only to take off...very spectacular and also a good starting place for XC or out and return flights. Spectacular views and an easy take off, generally good into the evenings.
